Commercial Design Principles
The design principles we use to create commercial buildings ensure an impressive corporate image, combining maximum floor efficiency, functional user pattern layouts and state-of-the arts material technology. We study carefully nett to gross and surface area values to maximise use of space. With a sound knowledge of engineering principles, we utilise structural concepts at early planning stages to ensure an efficient structure and minimise column transfers. Our design experience extends to deep basement levels when required and we have also worked with specialised construction techniques such as top down construction, post tensioning, system formwork, diaphragm walling and pre-cast panels.
Our design principals have been employed in all areas of commercial development including high-rise buildings, international hotels, retail centres, small office buildings and suburban taverns.
Our innovative building forms combining efficient planning and efficient structures have won a number of prestigious architectural awards for a variety of buildings ranging from suburban commercial (Highfields Tavern) to high-rise towers (Wisma Goldhill).
